Acticare Accelerate26: Reflecting, Resetting and Raising Standards in 2026

At the start of the year the full Acticare team stepped away from the day-to-day to reset, reflect, and align for the year ahead with Accelerate26.
It was a day designed to be practical and energising – bringing people together to look back at 2025 with honesty and clarity, to move into 2026 with a shared direction, clear standards, and renewed momentum.

Looking back with honesty: what did we learn from 2025?

We began the morning in group sessions built around real, live scenarios creating space for open conversation and constructive challenge. We asked ourselves the questions that matter:

  • What did we do well?

  • Where did we fall short?

  • What would “best” look like if we raised the bar across the business?

Those discussions were grounded, forward-looking, and focused on what we can improve – both in how we work together and in how we deliver for our clients.

Turning reflection into direction: our 2026 principles

From that reflection came a clear shift into 2026 principles and direction: the habits we want to keep, the areas we want to strengthen, and the standards we want to be known for. It was about aligning on how we show up – every day and ensuring consistency across the business. The outcome was the kind of shared clarity that helps everyone think and act in the same direction.

Celebrating 20 years of Acticare

We also paused to celebrate a major milestone: Acticare turns 20 this year.

With cake and balloons to mark the occasion, it was a simple but meaningful reminder of how far we’ve come and of the people who have helped shape the business along the way. Anniversaries matter because they reinforce what’s been built, they sharpen our focus on what comes next.

Raising the energy: team-building with Zing Events

In the afternoon, we turned the energy up another level with Zing Events Limited and their “Get in the Zone” team-building challenge.

The format was fast-paced and designed to stretch teams through physical, creative, mental and skill-based tasks. It demanded strategy, collaboration and quick decision-making, exactly the kinds of behaviours that drive strong outcomes in real working environments.

The competitiveness between teams was real, and so was the laughter. A sincere thank you to Zing Events for a brilliant session and to everyone for leaning in, contributing, and setting the tone for the year ahead.

Our values in 2026: refreshed to reflect who we are today

Accelerate26 also connected to something bigger than a single day: ensuring the values that guide Acticare are clear, current, and meaningful in the way we operate every day.

As we move into 2026, our Shareholders and Senior Leadership Team came together to review and challenge our values—making sure they reflect who we are today and the standards we want to be known for. The result is a refreshed set of values that reinforces what matters most to Acticare: how we show up for our clients, how we work together, and the quality we hold ourselves accountable to.

This refresh isn’t about creating words for a poster. It’s about ensuring our values are lived—shaping how we communicate, how we make decisions, and how we deliver, consistently, across the business.
